Collection: Fiona Kerr Gedson

Fiona Kerr Gedson creates from her home near Ōpōtiki, within the rohe of Te Whakatōhea. Raised in the valleys of Tāneatua and Rūātoki, the quiet presence of Tūhoe nurtured her deep connection to whenua, whānau, and spirit — all of which echo through her art.

Her intricately hand-crafted feather works have been described as meditative, soulful, and culturally resonant — holding space for personal story, life stages, and ancestral threads.

Though Fiona’s work is now exhibited internationally and collected across the world, she remains grounded in the same philosophy that guided her as a child: create with purpose, honour what matters, and remain grateful for the people and places that shape us.

Every piece she makes invites reflection, reverence, and reconnection.
