Teri Parat brings a fashion-forward eye and decades of design experience to her striking artworks. Now a full-time artist, her practice explores intricate portraiture and detailed florals, often painted in oils on fine cotton or Belgian linen.

Her signature style features wide-eyed female subjects with compelling, distant gazes—evoking timeless elegance with a modern edge. Inspired by vintage photography, classic portraiture, and the art of good design, Teri’s paintings hold a quiet intensity that resonates deeply.

Based in New Zealand, Teri has exhibited extensively over the past 30 years in both solo and group shows.
