Palm trees and a sunlit horizon reflected in gold-rimmed sunglasses hint at fresh possibilities in this vibrant portrait by Janice Corbishley. Bright lips, warm colour and layered paper textures give the woman a quietly assured presence, her gaze turned towards what lies ahead.

The clock’s 12:36 offers a symbolic pause between what has been and what comes next, carrying themes of growth, balance and the kindness we learn to extend to ourselves. It is a portrait of moving forward, carrying life’s lessons while making space for a new beginning.
