Sweeping black feather strokes bring a sense of movement to this creamy porcelain bowl, whose softly triangular shape gives it a gentle sculptural character.

Lyn Rigg creates the agateware effect using porcelain clay mixed with Black Onyx Stain, applied before the bowl is shaped on the pottery wheel.
