A gently pinched rim gives this creamy porcelain bowl its distinctive shape, while flowing dark bands and a tiny bird add a quiet sense of movement.

Lyn Rigg creates the agateware effect using porcelain clay mixed with Black Onyx Stain, applied before the bowl is shaped on the pottery wheel.
